Hello, how’s it going?

My name is Nicholas McGoldrick and I’m a lifelong resident of Levittown looking to give back to the community that helped raise me.

Settling In

My Poppop always told my sister and me that education was the most important thing for us to get, it would let us become anything we wanted, and once we had it, no one could take it away.

It was my parents working multiple jobs – good union work – and our neighborhood schools, filled with dedicated teachers and staff, that gave me the foundation to get ahead.

That foundation helped me build a career managing digital projects and leading an IT department – work that even took me abroad. Now that I’ve bought my childhood home and am preparing to raise a family of my own, it’s my turn to give back.

I believe in public education. Whether you have children in Neshaminy, had them go through the system, or are a property owner in the district, we all benefit from great schools. We need to protect Neshaminy’s quality and reputation. That begins with a School Board that represents us, ensures fiscal responsibility, and supports our teachers and school staff. That’s what I aim to do.

I want our children to have the same – or even better – education and opportunities than I had growing up here. We have much to be proud of in our community, but there are challenges to be faced and I’m ready to apply my skills and experience to help meet them.

My goal is to ensure we provide the best possible education not only for my future children, but for every student in the years to come.

Nicholas has a strong background in digital project management, allowing him to effectively lead initiatives at the Neshaminy School Board. His familiarity with the district, paired with technical expertise, positions him to address key challenges and advocate for positive change in schools.

Commitment

Nicholas is committed to fostering a positive and transparent relationship with the community. He encourages residents to share their thoughts and concerns about educational issues, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued in his efforts to improve the school board.

Community Engagement

Through this platform, Nicholas aims to keep the Neshaminy community informed about school board updates, policies, and important educational matters. Engaging with community members directly will help him tailor his initiatives to best serve their interests and needs.

Get Involved and Volunteer

I’ve found that a few hours here and there volunteering is a feel-good way to give back to the community. From park and street clean ups organized by the township to Habitat for Humanity projects, we can work together to make our community stronger for ourselves and for future generations. Plus, we can earn ourselves a little reward and support local businesses at the same time!

Fun & Games

Middletown Township Pickleball

I can’t recommend pickleball highly enough. It’s a really fun way to get out and be active while meeting folks from the community you wouldn’t have otherwise. It’s not like malls are the communal gathering places anymore!

Come check it out and there’s a good chance you’ll find me there! I’ve always got a spare paddle and am happy to show the basics.
